here i am! after such a long disappearence! (:
my birthday was an absolute fun for myself!! i guess it was the best birthday i ever had. after innova's teacher's day celeb, i went to tanglin with radhia. we came pretty late. among all the 4e1 students, i only saw aloy. and i talked to several teachers!! although my writting for teh teacher's day cards went pretty bad and rush- making me really flustered, the day in tanglin went rather well. so i met mrs koh and we talked for a while(3 mins), and after that i saw the best teacher ever- MJ!! mrs jacob is still as cheerful as ever. she was already surrounded my a whoel group of 4e1 05' when i came, making me the odd one out since i am from 4e1 06'. but she welcomed me really warmly when she saw my appearence. i had originally no intentions of greeting her in any way except to smile. but MJ stretched out her hand when she saw me, pressing my hands and i just squeezed hers. haha.. how cute of her. esp for her age. she rocks!! (:
and after that, i was just listeing to what she has to say to the group of us. i was kind of bored though; as i wanted to speak to her personally. and to my surprise, mrs michelle lee then tap my shoulder from the back to detach me from teh group, to talk to me personally. so sweet of her! haha.. she asked how i was and etc. but her first qs was "so do you have a boyfriend now?" i was like eh... haha. i've no idea why she asked that qs but i kind of dislike that qs these days. so it went pretty well..
and ya. when i talked to mrs jacob personally after that, her first qs was: "so how's JC life doing for you?" and when i had this really stunned and speechless expression, she said that it appears to be doing very well as i have gained more weight, less pimples and etc. lol. haha.. even mrs koh said that i've gained more weight. haha..
so my experience there was really fun and i took a couple of pics with some of the teachers.(: following that, i found mrs chng was really happy to see me and i gave her my heartest congratulatiosn for being one of the nominees' for teh president award for teachers (it came out on the straits times onde sat) and she was really over the moon abt that. lol. and when she found out it was my b'day, she gave me a gingerbread man which tasted fabulous, and even bought a pink- coloured hand-made rose for me. it was really nice!! (: and i later found out that mrs pek had given birth to a child on the 23rd Aug. so cool huh!! i just feel that she is a really strong and courageous woman! considering how gigantic and tall her husband is, in contrast with her petite nature. ;)
following that, i saw MING YAN!! one of my secondary school best pal and old friend as she was the first few friends i had known when i was in my first day in tanglin!! we have emerged to be best of friends till today!! so i was really jovial to see her appearence although it was due to an advanced planning that we had made. haha.. she gave me her b'day present and after tt rad and i persuaded her to go out with us to orchard abt 2 hours later and although she had resisted, she had finally agreed to us! how gr8! (:
so mingyan followed me to my house and i was so happy to walk home with her! as we had always been doing that! and after that, she read my harry potter- deathly hallows! she's teh first person who has read my book besides myself!! haha. its a fantastic book la. haha.. and after i showered, we left to orchard! it took me so long to decide which top and bottom to wear, and finally which bag to match! haha..
so we met radhia in orchard and we had a great time together, laughing and chatting away! although i had made no purchase, it was certainly a fun experience. we took neos together and soona fter that, i had to literaly rush and run to meet celestine!! we met up and took some picss and about 10 mins later, i had to rush home to celebrate my birthday! after taking a really heavy dinner, we ate cake! i was amazed with teh b'day cake. its a coffee cake and its like so BIG? its big to me as a year ago, mine was the size of a palm and the year before, i had none. haha.. so its was a realy big surprise for me!! and after that.. i opened up my presents~! one was a small pack and the otehr was like a big box. it turned up that the smaller one, which my bro has chosen for me, contains a pack of Kit Kat and correction tape. lol. and the other, a Digital Photo Frame! eh.. its a new technology.. so many will not know what it is.. its liek a photo frame, with the huge exception that you can play music, videos and pictures on it. haha.. i was so delighted la!!
and after that.. i opened my presents!! but before that, i wish to say that i received really really a lot of sms's, giving me well wishes for my b'day. i think it was like 30 plus? and i dont dare tos ay the name like last yr for fear of myself missing out a name or two. haha.. but still, thanks a million to you guys! (:

well, my bday presents are lesser than last year but i feel much exhilarated this year compared to teh last! Mingyan's and radhia's one were soooooo touching!!!!!! mingyan's one is a key necklace but her card to me was soo sweet! she wrote me 2 cards. and she said that although the necklace may look cheap, she bought it to resemble "teh key to our friendship. 5 years of mingyan and kelly". how much sweeter and nicer can she get manz?? so nice!! i was like AWWW! when i read it. haha..
and as for radhia, she gave me a pink teddy, and a plain white tee shirt. sounds dull? wait and read. well, on it, she drew teh 2 of us (such cute drawings), and wrote friends forever and some other stuff. and on one of the sleeve, she wrote "yr 2001- forever". i was like going to faint? the thrill and euphoria in me was too great for me to take. serious! and she even got me a card with a little frame thing.. (that card isnt cheap. i saw it in Cards N Such before) and she wrote really sweet words too! and tehre was one phrase that she wrote "you are my onli true fren".
well, mingyan and radhia really killed me off that night. i was overwhlemed. and before i could open the other presents from my others friends, i had already declared that it is the best b'day of my life. (: 0711B, my IJC class present from teh first intakers was also terribly beautiful. they got me a heart shape necklace, witha cupid arrow in it. tehy got it from mini-bits. it was beautiful! i gaped at it when i opened it in teh bus, with radhia. and i later gave a tiny scream as i was in teh public. gosh. it was really beautiful. great taste, valarie, vivien and irene! (:
celestine also gave me a golden clutch!! its a beauty. seriously! i had always wanted it. she knows me well manz! my great pal and cute lil' shopping buddy! (: rock on, celest! (: and ya. 2 of my friends gave me the same thing: a bean-bag hp holder. haha.. cute la. haha.. that is yp-jy and kimyue. thanks for that sincerity! =D tanshin gave me a red necklace.. thx for that.. and hmm. omg. i dont know if i have missed out anyone's present!! gosh. eh.. i hope not!! if i have forgotten urs, do pardon me as my b'day was like 2 weeks ago? =X oh yea. i know what i missed le. i had to look at te pics of my bday presents. lol. well, my gugu gave me 2 bags! a white handbag and a brown one. its teh material that i've always wanted!! yea!! (: its the size in between of a handbag and an A4 sized. (: just right for going out for shopping. (:
lastly, mingyan made me a birthday dedication on teh radio- 93.8!! she had introduced me that station in that card. and the deejays were really funny. i had roared like mad in response to their jokes. haha..
so that was my birthday on the 31st august, in which my dad and my friends had killed me with their words and actions. THANKS a million!!! (: love you guys. cheers!

on teh following day; a day after my b'day, i was extremly happy again. i had a family outing. i met up with tanshina nd kim yue in jurong east library not to study,but to receive presents (lol) and chat for a while. i was with my bro. and after that, my dad drove there, and picked us up. we went to suntec city!! we went to the COMEX exhibition (applications). and guess what........ my dad bought me an MP3 player!! its Creative ZEN STONE Plus. i love it!! its 2GB. love it. and he also bought a memory card for me, for my digital photo frame. so after that really happy moment, he brought me to FISH & CO!!! believe it or not, its my first time there and i absolutely loved the fish. it was extremly delicious. so nice!!!! gosh. so that was my actual b'day celeb, in my dad's point of view. haha.. but well, both days are celebs to me. (:
so i was liek so busy at home that night!! cus i had upgraded my MP3 from 256MB to 2GB?? thats a very significant difference isn't it?? so for teh first time i n my life, i can add music files freely into it! (: my euphoria on saturday was at its climax man!!

ON SUNDAY: 2/9.
i went out shopping with celestine!! this time, i dressed nicer than on my b'day was some unknown reason. i had not put any make-up on my b;day and i had put really thick eye-shadow on that day? and i guess i seriously over-dressed. too much esp since i'm meeting a girl. lol. we met at 6PM!! we were liek so happy? hhaa.. it was then where she gave me my present! and we laughed and chat so much on that day. what a happy day. (:
although i did not study at all throughout the entire weekend as i was busy celebrating my b'day, it was certainly a very meaningful and delightful b'day weekend for myself. (:
withs uch a perfect weekend, i was super sian to go back to sch on teh following monday for proj. work. so i was liek quite dead on that morning. but am thankful that its not a sch day. haha..

i can finally upgrade toa new hp after sooo long!! my samsung E600C was like purchased almost 3 years ago?? goodness. cus i kept changing mobile operator after that, making my 20 mths contrac such a dreary wait. i went to my dad's office on that day, felt quite stressed up with teh scanning of pics and teh binding of my notes. and after flipping the newspaper, i decided on teh hp that i want. not that costly, and yet a decent and nice looking one. i decided on N6288!!! it costed $98. although my dad was willing to pay teh full-sum, i decided to chip in 50 bucks.
when i first touched my hp, i was liek so in love with it?? its so nice!! teh size and colour of it.. it has a really sophisticated appearence! love it. and i later realised that its a newer version of N6280. hmm.. but ijust love this hp so much la!! (:
but it was after purchasing it that i felt that i had spended so much during this one week break? at the start of it, i bought a creative MP3 player which costed $99 and at teh end of it, i bought a $98 hp? i just felt so spendrift and had felt guilty. but then, all tehse events are just a coincidence. i will still be getting them one day. its just a matter of time. so my com now has so many software uploaded in it? from Nokia's one to Creative one? and whiel chatting, i've downloaded windows toolbar? i just feel as though my com is overloaded. :/
overall, i had an excellent holiday but in terms of my academic, i wasnt much of a success due to tiem constraints and very poor tiem management.
exams starts next next thur. so i've really got to start everytime right soon, before its too late. tiem is really not by our side at the moment. sigh..
and anyway, the proj. work work-load is overwhleming these day.s i was stretched to my fullest ability yestetrday la!@! on fri, we left teh school at about 9PM after proj work discussion for the PW. following which i met up with samantha at jurong east KFC for my dinner till 11pm plus. =X i was too tired to do a thing.
and yestetrday, we spent our time do proj work in woodlands library: from 10am - 9pm. eleven hours of PW, and i am going nuttish and i cam eout witha frozen brain. PW may be like literature in some sense but its certainly too much for me. i just feel that A level literature students may score better in PW. as its all about analysis and evaluation of an idea, and etc. and that is close to literature isnt it. sigh..
enough of my crap. i've goto to tae my lunch now.
