just posted a post which i had typed on he 23rd may- wed. it is a really long entry. so u don't have to read it la. really dull one. haha..
anyway, my week from wed till fri was a nice one. haha.. told ya i'm someone who has svere mood swings. lol. it was kind of fun as i was really busy with my school work. as i've said last year, i would always prefer to be feeling stressed up over my studies, than to feel emotional and even depressed. the feeling of depression is terrible. so i felt stressed from wed-fri. and thats teh spirit i like! lolx. i had 2 tests on thur- BIO and CHEM. 2 of the most dreaded subjects. and on fri, i had a math test. thur was such a tiring day for myself. i studied bio in the bus teh entire time, when i was heading to school. it was so tiring for my eyes. so i chiong for bio in teh morning. and in the late morning,i had to chiong for my chem. and on my way home from school, i had to chiong for math which would be tested on teh following day.
i felt so paranoid and "excited" for my tests as i have been failing all my class tests except GP! i fear that it will affect my CA and eventually my end of year promotion. that is why i'm so desperate for al teh class tests that i'm having.. so desperate to at least pass it, and hopefully, get a C grade or better! arghz.
so this friday did ot feel luike it was teh last day of school for myself as my mind was clouded with my worries for my math paper. i only realised that it was the last day of school, when i was making my way home from school on that friday afternoon. haha..
about our holiday assignments.... there are so much! what an awful stack of hw they had given us. :( there are like sooooo many math qs? i don't think tehy are compulsary for us to do as they called it "extra qsz", but to me, its as god as compulsary for us. cus the math lecturer said that these qs are prepared for our summert test..... dotz. so in otehr words, its compulsary la. wa liaow. i know its good fo rus to practice. however, there's also the TYS you know. i was already eyeing it, planning to do them for my holidays. there are so many qs le... and now, in lieu of those qs, wouldn't my holiday work be massive? sigh.. i'm ok with chem. cus most of them are from teh TYS.. and i've to do it anyway. so ok lor..
i'm just very anoyed with teh math extra qs.. cus i've attempted about 3-4 topics so far, and there are soooooooo many qs that i eitehr got the incorrect ans, or d not know how to ans! sadness.. :(
anyway, my first 2 weeks of teh holidays are booked by IJC. :( what a holiday. and a J2 CJC student only has 2 days booked up for teh entire june holiday? she said that she dont remember ebing asked to go back to school when she was a J1.. :( nvm... i guess IJ is really kanchiong cus its students aint that smart. lolx.
also, i'm having 2 tests during the june holidays. i've a chem test for all teh chapters thats to be tested for summer test, and also a math test thats testing me on every single chapter, in preparation for my summer test. sigh.
summer test refers to our mid-year examination.. i'm having it immediately after my school reopens. i.e. first week of term 3. it will only last for a week.. but still, i'm concerned about it!
hmm.. anyway, this holidays sounds liek its a time for me to catch-up with my old-friends! how fun can that be! haha! (: called kapo today.. finally found out which poly she managed to enter, and which course. (: also, i chatted with my 10-doll friendz! they rocks! haha! (: i have a sudden craving for ice skate.. to learn how to ice-skate. anyone wana teach me? ahha.. but i think we'll be pooling during teh holidays. ms ginny will teach us how to pool! gee! (:
i will also need to go back to tanglin to collect my O level cert. i think i'm teh last in my class to colect it la. so late le.. haha..
i'm amazed with myself. how i've managed to be perfectly fine over the failure of my relationship le. i dont know why, but i find myself being able to cope with my disappointments and hardships better after i was sent for counselling in tanglin? i think mrs michelle lee rocks. thats why i'm always sceptical of the otehr counsellors. she has made a change in my life and i thank her for that! (:
watched Spiderman 3 last saturday. it's nice. the story plot is the best compared to he otehr 2 previous movies. so its the most thrilling movie compared to the otehr 2 ones. but what i like best is that the movie is one that has a really good theme/ take-away message for the audiences. teh theme is about Forgiveness. there are 4 e.g. the first part is about Peter Parker's mother believing that we shouldn't take revenge on others. "your uncle wouldn't like us living ..." i forgot teh remaining phrase. teh second part is about the "sand man". thirdly, its about how peter chooses to be a good guy instead of an evil one (black suit). lastly, its about the friendship between peter and his friend. i like this part best. about how an antagonist has decided to change for the better?
and i liked it when Peter summed up the whole theme of the movie by saying that it is our choices that determine who we truly are. we can choose who it is that we want to be. i liekd it as the whoel movie is abt it? they took all the effort to portray this theme to us? it makes the whoel movie much richer in terms of its meaning...
anyway, i'll be watching Pirate of the Caribbean with my dad this coming tue. and of cus, i'll be looking forward to it!! (: and someone is asking me out for anotehr movie? 28 weeks of sth like that. i found this person especially annoying initially. but i think i'm ok with him now ba. going out with a guy doesn't mean that you are acepting him isn't it. haha.. and i wana watch Transformers! its directed by Steven Speilsberg. opps. i think i spelt his name wrongly. how embarrassing. anyway, i had a good impression of him after he produced teh movie War of the Worlds. i watched it twice on cinemas. lol.
i came across a few of these quotations recently. and i like that. but interestingly, i saw them a few times before i saw it again yesterday. it makes me wonder why these quotations are always in circulation.
they are:
Change is the law of life
(law? interesting.)
Seek first to understand than to be understood
(i liekd this one in sec one...)
In the middle of difficulty lies an opportunity
(in sec 3/4)
We are the product of the choices we face; not the circumstances that we face
Success is a state of mind
(i find this really thought-provoking. i think its very true. its just all abt ur definition of success. success does not have a fixed definition; a common definition in everyone's life.)
anyway, i was listening to avril's music on my blog music... Innocence. and i realised that the quality of the music isn't so gd leh.. esp when she sings teh higher pitch.. its obvious.. :( and she also sound different, as compared to her voice in the CD.. but i'm too lazy to rip my cd and place teh track here la.. haha..
anyway, i am looking forward to going out with certain friends during the holidays! but i need more cash sia... haha..
i think this entry is sufficient for all of u to read. the otehr post is really really really long. dont have to read la. haha..
take care! and cya! have a merry holidays (lol) and be sure to plan your time really really well! (:
anyway, i'll be going to 4e1's chatlet outing. i'll be going on monday. but will not be staying overnight. as for 0711b, i think i may be going for the class outing thats on Vesak Day. haha.. give them a surprise. since i've never been to any class outings before.
cya!
